Death Marches
April 1944...
During the time of the Holocaust major tragedies have happened. Later, Hitler made a horrific, atrocious, terrifying thing called "Death Marches". Jews were forced to evacuate their camps and were led to walk miles and miles to other places. It was scary for the Jews because during the marches many lives would be lost from this march. The main thing that was scary for the Jews was that if you would fall, need to rest, want food, or need to stop, you would be shot on the spot and wind up dead, and then have them throw you're body to the side of the rode.
This whole thing is just wrong. I'm writing a research paper for my ELA class and as I was writing my paper I was looking at a website to look for research. These things were so messed up, like this is a different topic but they tricked Jews by saying "take off you're cloths and leave everything that you have and take a shower." and they thought that they were gonna shower but they stepped to their fate into a gas chamber and die. Then later they took the Jews belongings and have them stored in these houses that had millions of cloths, shoes, pieces of hair, etc. To me that makes me sick of what they did to these innocent people.
